First, let’s clarify a traditional flat boat. Any mass production hull, any crimped bottom hull, and hull with cross bracing, or any flat boat with light weight aluminum (.100 or less), is considered, for these purposes, a “traditional flat / Jon boat”. We won’t list them here, but if you’ve heard of them and it’s not a Gator Trax, you can safely insert their name wherever we refer to the “traditional flat boat”.
